When does the VNP start?
February of 2025
How long is the course?
Full Time – 12 months, and Part Time – 18 months (PENDING)
Monday: 3:00 pm – 10:30 pm
Tuesday: 3:00 pm – 10:30 pm
Saturday: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
Sunday: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
Part Time (PENDING)
Friday: 4:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Saturday: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
Sunday: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
How many terms are there?
Full Time
4 terms – 13 weeks per term
After each term is a break

How much does the program cost?
Please call the office for prices.
- Payment Plan is available for students.
- If the student is a previous CHSC CNA student, they will receive a discount.
How often are payments due?
Payments are determined by the plan the student chooses.
(Students will be able to decide whether they would like to make their payments by term, monthly, or bi-weekly.)
CHSC requirements?
- 18+
- CNA (Preferred)
- HS Diploma or GED
- BLS/AED Card through American Heart Association
- Physical/TB Immunity from (MMR, Varicella, T-DAP, Hepatitis B)
- Live Scan
- Pre-assessment T.E.A.S 50% or greater/ 75% for in-school testing
- Panel Interview
- Attend a VNP Workshop at California Healthcare Skills Center
- Write a 500 Word Essay on why they want to be a nurse
What is the percentage needed to pass the VNP course?
A minimum overall of 75%
Am I able to get a refund if I withdraw?
- No refund if 60% of the course is completed.
- If withdrawing prior to the program, the student has the right to a full refund, except the $120 non-refundable application fee.
- Students who wish for a refund after starting the program will be refunded in a prorated manner based on the hours of class attended.

Where are clinicals being taken place?
Our Vocational Nursing students will rotate in between our 5 clinicals site that we have affiliation agreements with, these sites include,
- Corona Post Acute
- Riverside Village Healthcare Center
- San Bernardino Valley Community Hospital
- Totally Kids Rehabilitation Hospital
- Valentines Medical Clinic
Does CHSC offer online classes?
No, CHSC only offers in-person classes.
